Emily wilder - researcher & editor

Emily Wilder is a researcher and editor for the University Network for Human Rights. Prior to this role, she participated in UNHR’s student fact-finding trip to Armenia during the summer of 2023. There, she helped conduct field interviews regarding rights abuses during and following the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War. She holds an M.L.S. from UCLA School of Law and a B.A. in history from Stanford University, where she concentrated on the contemporary Middle East and the U.S. Civil Rights Era. She has previously worked as a digital open-source investigations (OSINT) researcher at the Promise Institute for Human Rights. She has also worked as a local journalist in Phoenix, Arizona (her hometown) and the San Francisco Bay Area. She brings her passions for writing, research, storytelling, activism, and community engagement to her work at UNHR.

Emily speaks English and Hebrew and is an active student of Levantine Arabic.
